We’ve been busy with our 45th wedding anniversary, U.S. Flag Day, beginning of the Soccer World Cup, giving visitors a tour of Dhaka, and Mymensingh, and Father’s Day! I decided I need to get on my blog and for sure wish my wife, “A very Happy Birthday! Now she is “older” than I am. For two months I will be glad to do whatever she wants me to!!! :-)
Here she is the “Pied Piper” in the Bailor Village near Mymensingh!
TAKEN FROM OVER-BRIDGE AT MYMENSINGH TOWN TRAIN STATION!
We used this boat to cross the river for the photo in the previous blog. Bangladesh used to have many sailboats with beautiful colorful sails until the importation of the gas engine!
ACROSS THE RIVER FROM MYMENSINGH WE FOUND THIS SPOT WITH A NICE BACKDROP FOR SOME PORTRAITS!
Thanks for being willing to pose for this shot!
A CLOSEUP OF A RICE FIELD!
OOPS! THERE ARE SEVERAL BLUE CHAIRS PEEKING THROUGH ON THE BACK SIDE. THIS IS ALSO A TYPICAL SCENE AT AN EATERY IN SOUTHERN SPAIN!
SOON THESE WILL BE WOVEN INTO SOME FINE COLORFUL PRODUCT AT THE MCC R&D DIVISION.
LEAK IN WATER PIPE AT THE MYMENSINGH TRAIN STATION!
With these latest blogs it’s obvious I just returned from a trip to Mymensingh, Bangladesh.
