My friend Rasel invited me to his sister’s house for a nice meal of jumbo shrimp, curried veggies, beef, chicken and pangash mach (fish), and other veggies, and rice. The meal was topped with this dessert and then followed by some good Bengali cha (tea). Thanks Rasel!

It was special to go to Platinum Suites in Banani with my good friend for their breakfast buffet! The buffet included omelets, beef bhuna, chicken sausage, pancakes, sauteed potatoes, alu bhuna, conjee soup and other items.

The Bengalis are one of the people groups who do such a great job of arranging their foods in an attractive way. In Old Dhaka I spied this watermelon cut and ready for hot, hungry pedestrians passing by, to indulge in.
