Having had Dengue Fever on my Birthday, the celebrations got kind of strung out.

Well, you can tell Language School is over!  We will likely work with tutors until our next Language Assessment in November.  We will likely find out tomorrow before we leave whether we passed or failed the different sections of the Assessment.  These days are hot.  Last night we splurged and slept with the AC on.  it was set to cool to 80 degrees!  These days need to be enjoyed because soon the cold showers will be coooold showers indeed!  We are taking a break and going to Darjeeling, India tomorrow since we have to leave the country every six months with our current visa.  We decided to spend 11 nights there relaxing. The last trip like this we spent 15 minutes in India, grabbing a bite to eat at a little 6×8 restaurant.  It looks like a rainy 10 days with temps from 68-72 degrees, brrr!  Likely no photo uploads until I return.  If I get a glimpse of Mt. Everest, I will post it!  Well, thirty-three hours till we have to be at the bus station, for the all-night ride, so I better get on to other things.  Thanks to all of you who wished me well during my Dengue Fever episode.  Also, a big thanks for all those who wished me a Happy 60th Birthday.  It’s great to be blessed with another year of life, and an honor and privilege to be able to spend it serving my LORD in this great city!

Can he blow out the Candles with one blow?

I am enjoying the time spent with these High-School age players.  I am the coach of the Remian Raiders.

It was kind of muddy to be playing but the tournament had to go on.
Good save!

Good save!

It seems like mud and rain don’t halt games, though it makes it somewhat inconvenient. The ball doesn’t act in the water like it does on grass!

And last but not least, Riley, the 4 year-old.  The MCC director here in Dhaka says that when I was in College he thinks I was a lot like Riley!
