We’ve been busy with our 45th wedding anniversary, U.S. Flag Day, beginning of the Soccer World Cup, giving visitors a tour of Dhaka, and Mymensingh, and Father’s Day!  I decided I need to get on my blog and for sure wish my wife, “A very Happy Birthday!  Now she is “older” than I am.  For two months I will be glad to do whatever she wants me to!!! 🙂

Here she is the “Pied Piper” in the Bailor Village near Mymensingh!

TAKEN FROM OVER-BRIDGE AT MYMENSINGH TOWN TRAIN STATION!

Morning Stretches!

We used this boat to cross the river for the photo in the previous blog.  Bangladesh used to have many sailboats with beautiful colorful sails until the importation of the gas engine!

Brahmaputra River Scene at Sunset!

ACROSS THE RIVER FROM MYMENSINGH WE FOUND THIS SPOT WITH A NICE BACKDROP FOR SOME PORTRAITS!

Here I am lit up with the last of the day’s sunlight!

This is what I see as I am waiting for the tea stand to have the first morning cup of tea ready in Mymensingh!

These nice cool mornings (75 degrees F)  make this tea very inviting.  These streetside stands make as good a tea as you can get anywhere in the world!!

Flames licking the teapot in prep for a delicious cup of cha!

Thanks for being willing to pose for this shot!

A ready smile from Neepa!

A CLOSEUP OF A RICE FIELD!

Not yet ready for harvest!

OOPS! THERE ARE SEVERAL BLUE CHAIRS PEEKING THROUGH ON THE BACK SIDE.  THIS IS ALSO A TYPICAL SCENE AT AN EATERY IN SOUTHERN SPAIN!

Red!

SOON THESE WILL BE WOVEN INTO SOME FINE COLORFUL PRODUCT AT THE MCC R&D DIVISION.

DYED BUT NOT YET DRIED!
