Two Surprising Delights

I stood in amazement in our Kitchen last evening, and gazed to the West! Wow, I saw the sunset. I think it may be the first time, I saw a sunset from within our house. There are houses west of us, and a good part of the town. Somehow with the change of seasons, the sunset was lined up, so I could see it from the kitchen, looking through the dining room window. Included in the photo would be the iconic town clock of the town square, and a rickshaw, an iconic figure of Bangladesh, where we spent 8.5 years of our lives. I suspect that last sentence, was a “run-on sentence!”

The second delight was to see two Carolina Wrens at our window feeder at the same time. This photo was taken on our clothes line pole, at some other time.

This is a view of our window feeder, with a house finch peeking around the side, to get a better view of the photographer!

My wife made my day very special!  I came home from a taxi run at Noon, which meant we went out to eat for lunch instead of breakfast!  As we were leaving, I mentioned that the lawn looked like it didn’t need mowing!  In the morning it was dewy, and I decided I should put mowing the lawn on my list of activities! It was a puzzle to me, until my sweetheart mentioned that she had mowed the lawn while I was gone! She surely got me that time! Thanks heaps, and looking forward to many more years together!

The Day is done!

The Day is done!

THIS WAS MY LAST PHOTO BEFORE I SCURRIED TO THE HOTEL TO GET READY SO I WOULDN’T MISS THE BUS!

We had to cross on five ferries on our trip down and due to weather, etc. it took us 17 hours.  It’s no wonder there were less tourists than at Cox’s Bazaar, a beach further to the East.

The Best Sunset we saw on this trip.

I couldn’t resist taking another sunset shot at this location.  I’m almost sure I took a shot here three weeks ago and likely a year ago as well. I love this flood plain for sunset photos.
