LAD
This young lad wanted me to stop and take his photo, so I did! Not a great hardship. I love all the portraits available in this great city of Dhaka, Bangladesh! Oops, I think I forgot to downsize it!

Let's see what's in the net!
FISHERMAN OR FISHERMEN #4

GRANDPA/GRANDSON TIME
Sitting in a traffic jam yesterday I realized that we are not far away from some hot days! I had a fun time yesterday. I stopped and picked up Riley, my 5-yr old grandson on the way to the soccer match. Galib’s (football player) mother gave me a copy of a book of poems she had printed and will be put on sale at the large Book fair coming up next month. It will be good practice for practicing my Bangla reading. As soon as Galib came home we went to the game (20 min by CNG after 15 minutes trying to locate one!). We arrived late! 😦 Only one of the four of us were players, but I found out that we had actually started the game one player short! It was the second half and our team was tied 1-1. Before long it was 3-1 and we had lost. Riley enjoyed the time, writing on the sidewalk with a piece of a red brick! He did take a few photos as well of the second game. Of course, on the way home he was excited because we bought some cotton candy off of a vendor who was meandering through the stopped traffic.!!
Here is Riley drawing on sidewalk with a piece of a brick oblivious to the soccer game.
Fisherman # 4 is going to have to wait!! I had to post this great shot of Rishan Asif, one of Remian Raider’s strikers.
Here is Asif still in the air after a great head-shot!
Fisherman #3
This bird was in the Sonderbans in Southern Bangladesh.
I couldn’t resist adding this photo! The team I am coaching won their first game of a new tournament this afternoon. The final score was 1-0, with the winning goal on a penalty shot!! I shot some photos for the first time in the raw format. I haven’t messed with them to see if I can enhance some of the shots with poor lighting, etc.
A head shot moves he ball back.
Today is a Friday so it is a fairly relaxing day. It is the first day of our weekend. Alice and I want to go out to eat at Noon. I didn’t play football early this morning since there was a field day at the playing field for some school. The team I am coaching is playing in a tournament which starts this afternoon.
FISHERMAN #2
This fish eagle is looking for his next meal, which obviously will be fish.
FISHERMAN # 1
I actually took this shot in December of 2007 while on a “Bengal Tours” trip to the Sonderbans in Southern Bangladesh.
I worked hard to get this shot of the circling Brahmin Kite
I love sunsets! Watching the sunset is definitely a relaxing way to end a good day.
A beautiful sunset over a Bangladesh rice field.
COLORS
I’m glad God made colors. The rainbow is a great example. The fabric colors here in Bangladesh are vivid and colorful!
These vivid colors were at a handicraft stall in Moheshkhali, and Island in Southern Bangladesh
