Carving

Tools and Carvers waiting for the carver!

I spent a fair amount of time at this table last weekend! Unless I change my mind, the cowboy is ready for some touchup, and then ready for my paint brushes! I’m anxious to see how he turns out!

A Bear Hug

All Ears

Deer in front of me on the Rails to Trails trail, trying to figure out what I am! In case you noticed this photo was taken before the one on yesterday’s post!

White-tailed Deer on the move!

Carving Talent Exhibited

Squirrel Trio

I decided this was a photo moment, when I saw a live squirrel on the bird bath, which had it’s own cement squirrels crawling over it!

September 18, 1966, the day I met this lovely young lady! That started our relationship, and we “never looked back!” We have been married 53 years, and are looking to many more great years together. Alice had seen me on a bus on September 17. She had observed that a young lady got on the bus, and she saw me give up my seat for her. She never thought more of it, until she met me the next day! National Wife Appreciation Day, also falls on September 18, this year! I appreciate all the miles my wife has traveled with me, supporting me in so many ways! This photo was taken on the East Coast of the U.S. From the hat, you can tell that we also climbed the trek up to Poon Hill in Nepal, which was a part of our 40th wedding anniversary!

We met at college

Courted for one-thousand days

Then wedded for life

My wife and I enjoyed traveling to California, and spending a week with my sister and her family! So much fun, going to the mountains, my birthday celebration, jig-saw puzzles. We also visited Joshua Tree National Park, where this photo was taken of my sister and me!

We enjoyed along the California Coast along the Big Sur

Joe!

This post was for you, Joe!! Great afternoon of reminiscing at my wife’s H. S. 56th Class reunion.
