I was attracted by the saying on the shirt! I suspect they have restaurants in several locations. We sure did enjoy the food, especially the garlic nan.

So nice to have CNG Uber available in Dhaka, Bangladesh! Here we are headed for the Kamalapur Rail Station for our journey to Mymensingh. It was a delightful journey through the beautiful countryside.

Good Bengali hospitality, generally means serving a cup of tea!

Boats waiting on the shore of the Brahmaputra River, either to ferry people across to the village, or to give rides up and down the river!

This was one of my photos that was exhibited at Kalpana Boarding for the TTL-BIF7 Photo Exhibition.  The exhibition had two venues this year, including Drik Gallery in Dhanmondi.

I actually took this photo while riding a Rickshaw on Asad Avenue in Mohammadpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh.  I have had tea with the gentleman on the left, and he has even given me free rickshaw rides.

We’ve been busy with our 45th wedding anniversary, U.S. Flag Day, beginning of the Soccer World Cup, giving visitors a tour of Dhaka, and Mymensingh, and Father’s Day!  I decided I need to get on my blog and for sure wish my wife, “A very Happy Birthday!  Now she is “older” than I am.  For two months I will be glad to do whatever she wants me to!!! 🙂

Here she is the “Pied Piper” in the Bailor Village near Mymensingh!

TAKEN FROM OVER-BRIDGE AT MYMENSINGH TOWN TRAIN STATION!

Morning Stretches!

We used this boat to cross the river for the photo in the previous blog.  Bangladesh used to have many sailboats with beautiful colorful sails until the importation of the gas engine!
