Birthday Party

The plates had belonged to my wife’s mother! This was a birthday party, we had last week, for our daughter-in-law, Marita.

My daughter-in-law did a great job of preparing this tasty dish. It was for our youngest grandson’s 16th birthday celebration!!

A fusion of Elk meat chunks and a classic North Indian mild curry made with yogurt, tomato paste, ginger, garlic and traditional Indian spices.

My mother always marked a circle in the center of the cake before cutting the cake, so the pieces wouldn’t have a point on the end! Her she is with her 96th birthday cake!

Time to blow out the candles with her Great Grandson, whose birthday we were also celebrating.

Yes there was a birthday cake! ¬†Actually, it was given to me by the Mrs. Yoder’s Kitchen Restaurant in Mt. Hope, Ohio because I ate breakfast there on my birthday. ¬†The candle is an amazing Flower whose petals open with candles on each petal. ¬†It also plays a nice tune.

ROSANNA’S ARTISTIC ABILITIES REPRESENTED HERE!¬† The ISO was at 640 so the exposure was only 1/20th of a sec.¬† I should have upped the ISO to get a sharper photo.¬† So it goes!
