Day 7

MO MO MAKING LESSONS at the Hot Stimulating in Darjeeling.  This activity which was mentioned in the “Lonely Planet” was enjoyed by Austin (my son) and I.  We each bought Mo Mo steamers and are planning a family Mo Mo party for this weekend.  Pruit (our grandson) asked if we could show him how to make them.

Day 6

BEAUTIFUL SUNRISE seen the last hour before we left Darjeeling, as I was trying to capture the sunrise giving a nice tint to the mountain in the previous photo.

THE THINKER!  I am thinking it was cold in Darjeeling and soon after returning to Bangladesh, it turned cold here as well.  Of course, we feel it because the only heat we have is the gas burners or oven!  These last 10 days (today is actually Jan 22) I have worn this hat at times indoors.

Day 4

KANCHENJUNGA, the world’s 3rd largest mountain which was visible from Darjeeling where we spent 10 days with our family over the Christmas and New Year’s Holidays.

Day 2

RILEY, OUR YOUNGEST GRANDSON with the cake celebrating his 6th birthday.  Actually this happened tomorrow (Day 3) but since I am retroactively putting photos on my blog it works.  It is good to be back online with my computer after a Windows crash.  We installed Win7 and everything seems to be running smoothly.

Day 3

HAPPY  6TH BIRTHDAY, RILEY! Riley is our youngest grandchild.  Today we should have arrived back in Dhaka after a family vacation in Darjeeling, India, including Christmas and New Year’s Day.  At Nando’s restaurant in Dhanmondhi Riley had to try out Grandpa’s glasses.

A NEW YEAR HAS ARRIVED and we hope it is filled hope, joy, and peace for all our friends.
