This is a beautiful bird that loves to sing in the open fields. It’s the best photo I could from the distance I was away! This was in the Woodbury Wildlife Area 4 miles west of Coshocton, Ohio.

This woodpecker has been coming to our bird feeder. He loves the peanuts. We have a pair of bluebirds that returned again this year and have hatched little ones. One of the adult bluebirds keeps dive-bombing this woodpecker. He must be very territorial!

This bird frequents our backyard.

A beautiful Baltimore Oriole I was delighted to see while birding at Magee Marsh in Northern Ohio during the “Biggest Week in America Birding!” I think it was also National Bird Migration Day!

My third sighting of this beautiful bird. I was birding at Magee Marsh in Northern Ohio. A beautiful warm day. Actually the first day I was really hot! Love Summer!!

Black Necked Stilt at Howard Marsh in Northern Ohio.

Northern Cardinal showing off his bright red color!

I don’t think the horse has a life-list of birds, but it is the season birders are enjoying the Spring migration of waterfowl. Have a good first day of April!!

Not sure if this bluebird actually could tell that someone inside the window was there taking its photo. Maybe the way the sun was, etc, he could tell there was movement. Anyway, it seemed like he noticed me! It was nice to see the bluebirds back. The bluebirds had come back again this year, so I hurried and put their birdhouse outside in its usual spot. Then sparrows started making nests in the house, which I removed the second time. I think the sparrows gave up, because now the bluebirds have taken ownership of the house again.
