Day 59

PAINTERS AT WORK on the wall and on my face and hand!   I attended the annual Boi Mela (Book Fair) organized by the Bangla Academy on the last day of the month long Mela.  They had many painters who were ready to paint the national flag, map or minar.  My hand was done free when I ran into the painter I had met earlier but didn’t ask to have any painting done.  He insisted on doing my hand at no charge!

Day 18

COOKS IN THE KUNGA Restaurant (Tibetan) where we had some delicious meals.

MO MO MAKING LESSONS at the Hot Stimulating in Darjeeling.  This activity which was mentioned in the “Lonely Planet” was enjoyed by Austin (my son) and I.  We each bought Mo Mo steamers and are planning a family Mo Mo party for this weekend.  Pruit (our grandson) asked if we could show him how to make them.
