HAPPY FAMILY with the 4-day old, Josiah Andrew.

LEGOS, and a whole box of them. Our friends surprised their sons with this gift after arriving from America.

THE TWO MUNCHKINS we took care of while their Mother was at the hospital awaiting the arrival of their little brother! They weren’t as menacing as they look!

JOSIAH ANDREW PETERSHEIM arrives at 12 Noon! A big congratulations to his family!

DUE DATE FOR OUR FRIEND I guess we still have just under 6 hours for the baby to come on the due date. Thanks, my friend for letting me post this sight-unseen. I thought her friends would appreciate a current photo! 🙂 It feels like I’m going to be a Grandpa again!!

MILK which my friend sells to neighbors and friends. He has at least 5 cows, a fish farm, and helps his father operate a tea stand. They have a “cowboy” who leads the cows out of the family courtyard and out to eat grass.

SHAHEEN, OUR HELPER giving her son, Sultan, some instructions in preparation for serving us a delightful Bengali meal. She served it in a neighbor’s home because she thought her room was too small!

FOOTBALL PLAYING resumes with the end of Ramadan and the Ramadan Eid. Here I am guarding the goal which is typically my position on Friday and Saturday mornings. It was nice to see the guys again after a five week break.
I thank either Dan or Frieda Mast for this photo taken last Winter.

HALIM AND I – I went to his house to help celebrate Eid after spending an hour at Zia Park with him and 4-5 of his friends.

HALIM’S MOTHER in her kitchen. She cooks up a very tasty curry. Halim is a Muslim friend, whom I play football with two mornings per week.

ALICE WITH HALIM’S MOTHER after we had Iftar (meal right after day of fasting) with Halim’s family who live in Mohammadia housing.

ADOPTION DAY – This little orphan is adopted by a young couple who has been wanting children for five years. It was a very happy day for them and our friend Donna who did a lot to arrange for this adoption. The new Father’s Mother, and the new Mother’s Father were present for the event. We had met the Mother’s Father in Joypara, so I knew the family. I was honored to be a part of this special time as photographer.
