I have more books in 2020 than, I have for a long time. Here I am by a cozy corner of our living room, enjoying a book written by a friend, Frank Yoder. The book talks about the author’s early days in Iowa. They were neighbors to my mother’s family, and had some interaction. So these stories of events in the 20’s and 30’s was an interesting read.
The upper photo is of a plow that is manufactured locally for the Amish, many who use horses for their field work. In the lower photo, you see a plow in action!

I remember when I was a young boy, milking a cow with a one-legged stool! Here these three men are demonstrating how to use the stool. Nostalgia
