A PILE OF WATERMELONS WITH THE SELLER PERCHED ON TOP OF THEM IN MIRPUR 1, DHAKA, BANGLADESH.

We sure have been enjoying the taste of this fruit.  A small one will likely cost 1.40 USD.

TASTY WATERMELONS!

This is the complimentary breakfast served at Hotel Amir in Mymensingh.  Boiled egg, toast, banana, and tea was served.

2012 Day 76

LAST EVENING AFTER ORDERING OUR MEAL AT Nandos Peri Peri Chicken Restaurant in Dhaka these couples poked their heads through the openings behind us!  We had a splendid meal. It was the last day of their special of an additional free side dish of your choice with a meal.  Nando’s is a casual dining restaurant group originating from the Mozambiquan Portuguese community in South Africa with a Portuguese/Mozambican theme.

2012 Day 57

AN ASSORTMENT OF PEANUTS, AND OTHER SNACK FOODS AVAILABLE ALONG THE STREET.

Many treats available at this stand beside the street. (Actually taking up sidewalk space!)

2012 Day 39

STEAMED TREATS SEEN ON THE STREETS OF PHNOM PENH IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS.  I never had a chance to try them out.  With breakfast buffets included in hotel fees I never quite justified the extra food.

Steamed treats filled with either veggies or meat for a morning snack!

Day 354

I AM GOING TO SEE WHAT’S INSIDE THIS?

Day 349

TODAY WAS A  BUSY DAY DELIVERING CINNAMON ROLL CHRISTMAS WREATHS TO OUR NEIGHBORS.   I started at 11:30 am and took an hour off for supper and stopped at 7:15 pm.  I was unable to deliver to 3 of the 31 apartments, until Friday. Then I headed out to deliver some more to our U.S. friends.  I kept one rickshaw wallah busy for over an hour with this last venture.  I had started the day at 5 am, with a morning walk, and then an hour of football and some shopping, so I was ready to drop into bed.
