SANTOSHI, my Nepali daughter! She works at the trekking company that arranged out trek. She is a very fine young lady, who does a wonderful job. It was a pleasure to become acquainted with her. She made sure we were well taken care of. I think she was a little worried about us trekking, though very pleased when she found out we had a wonderful time trekking 4 days in the Anapurna area.
POTENTIAL WALL ARRANGEMENT
I’m considering this or a similar arrangement for one of the walls of our apartment. Feel free to make comments including recommendations. If I knew how to use this program 🙂 I would have put spaces between each photo and had every other photo up or down. So it goes! Have a great day! This young girl is a niece of the tea-stand operator I spent the afternoon with last Friday.

My eye was drawn to the bright colors of this girl’s dress as I was riding down the street.
SIDEWALK HAZARD
Here you see what happened to our sidewalk which used to extend past the trees. With the installation of a new waste water line the dirt was shoveled up on to this sidewalk. Where else to go? Oh by the way, we had a hard rain today. I think the first since October or maybe November.
ENJOYING THE MOMENT
I caught these girls giggling as they were waiting for traffic to stop so they could cross Road #27. They noticed me taking a photo and then posed for a close-up.
