Day 358

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OUR FRIENDS!  We are having a relaxing day here in Bali, Indonesia, reading books, editing photos, taking photos, enjoying good food, etc.  Photos were taken at airport in Kuala Lumpur on our way from the U.S. A. to Dhaka in September.

Day 354

ALICE IS HERE AT “SUBWAY” restaurant eating her egg and tuna sub sandwich for breakfast.  We came back later and bought subs to eat either at the airport or enroute to Bali.  We are currently in a coffee shop called Cafe Espresso, eating out $2 subs, while I drank my $3 cup of capuccino coffee! 🙂 Don’t tell anyone.  Our flight leaves in 1 hour and 8 minutes.  We’ll catch up with you in Bali!

Day 353

ALICE ENJOYING HER ICED COFFEE and I enjoying a orange/mango smoothie.  These photos are basically in realtime!  We are at the “Coffee Club” which opened yesterday!  A very nice place near what they call “Times Square!”

Day 345

SHARMIN  wondering what the elephant will do next!  I of course couldn’t tell these girls apart.  They were a part of the photo club I went to Moulovibazar with to photograph, tea gardens,  birds at a haor, and waterfall.  It was too late in the season and the waterfalls was barely a trickle so didn’t go see it.  Also it was too early to see the Winter birds at the haor, but all in all it was a good trip.  I hope to join them for a trip to another haor in Northeastern Bangladesh in February, when many Winter birds will be residing.

Day 344

Day 327

WELL IT’S FOR SURE!  ALICE AND I are spending Christmas in Bali.

HERE IS ALICE having a nice curried beef, rice, spicy potato, dal, and rice meal at Halim’s place.   Halim’s mother is on the right.  Her curries are some of the best we have tasted in Bangladesh.
