Day 327

WELL IT’S FOR SURE!  ALICE AND I are spending Christmas in Bali.

HERE IS ALICE having a nice curried beef, rice, spicy potato, dal, and rice meal at Halim’s place.   Halim’s mother is on the right.  Her curries are some of the best we have tasted in Bangladesh.

Day 246

HAPPY 87TH BIRTHDAY TO MY MOTHER, Fannie Jane Miller

My Mother with Alice, my wife when Mom arrived from Florida to spend some time with us.

My Mother with Pauline (Alice’s sister).  Mom made this wall-hanging from some ties that Mark Zehr (Pauline’s deceased husband) used to wear.  Pauline was pleased with this gift.  My Mother has been quilting quilts, wall-hangings, etc. for a long time.

Here is Mom wearing the card she found in the gift shop to buy.  I then paid for it, and the clerk said she needs to pass it on to friends to wear when it is their birthday.

Day 196

MY MOTHER, HEMMING SOME OF Dustin’s trousers.  In Bangladesh we would have taken them to the tailors to alter!

Day 175

MOM AND I REUNITED AFTER three years. She arrived on the bus at Noon today!

Day 130

MY DEAR WIFE, ALICE  with the Mother’s Day gift she received from Austin’s.  Riley couldn’t wait to give it to her.  He crawled under the table and on to my lap, and gave her the gift bag as he said, “Happy Mother’s Day!”

FRENCH FRIES at the American Club where we went with Austin’s and Dustin to celebrate Mother’s Day.

Day 129

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY TO all Mothers and especially to my Mother, who is 86 years old.

Mom in 1946 in Kansas!

The next photo is in 2006 with her sisters, in Iowa.  Fannie (Mom) on left.  Mary (Mrs. David L. Miller, Kansas) center, and Esther Zook on right.

Mom in Ohio at an Eli C. Miller Family Reunion before we left for Bangladesh.
