I let a Doe and two fawns cross the road! I didn’t want to take the chance that they would wait on me!

One of the many scenes I had on a 20 day taxi road trip with 5 young Amish men (Aged 22-39). Now home, before a 7 day road trip to Northeastern USA. It feels like a 40 hour layover! Maybe after that I will be more consistent with posts!
Enjoyed this site East of the Cascade mountains in Washington!

One of our sharp-eyed gang saw these desert bighorn sheep (likely) nicely silhouetted in the blue skies! I don’t remember what they said they were.

Can you pick them out on the hilltop! This is the view with the naked eye! I appreciate my telephoto lens!
Have a good day!

Or Not

No wonder they are called, White-tailed Deer!

The Spring Warbler migration is basically finished. I was again delighted to travel to Magee Marsh, along Lake Erie, a hotspot for spotting warblers. I was able to add 14 new birds to my life list! I don’t know when I will see my next new species, which will put my recorded Life List to 300.

After eluding me last Saturday, this species of bird was again heard yesterday, and I was able to get a glimpse of it, and get a photo, as well! It is a Field Sparrow. Lifer for Birders means it is the first time in your life that you have seen this bird, and identified it!
