HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY TO MY SWEETHEART!  We celebrated our first Valentine’s Day together in 1967.  This photo was taken in Pokhara, Nepal.  We had just returned from a 4 day trek in the Annapurna range, climbing to Poon Hill and back. We had to do a visa run and used this opportunity to go to Nepal and celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary.

Spring is here.  Yesterday for the first time I saw watermelon at the market for $3.30 U.S.D. each.
