My Mother with Alice, my wife when Mom arrived from Florida to spend some time with us.
My Mother with Pauline (Alice’s sister). Mom made this wall-hanging from some ties that Mark Zehr (Pauline’s deceased husband) used to wear. Pauline was pleased with this gift. My Mother has been quilting quilts, wall-hangings, etc. for a long time.
Here is Mom wearing the card she found in the gift shop to buy. I then paid for it, and the clerk said she needs to pass it on to friends to wear when it is their birthday.
AUGUST 19, and I am celebrating my 62nd birthday. My niece, Starla grabbed my camera and said it is time this camera takes some pictures of me (Marland). Here is one of the results. My wife, Alice in the background seemed to be enjoying the moment as well.
