This was at the Mohican Gorge Overlook. It was a birding trip organized by “Time & Optics” a local shop that sells Clocks, binoculars, and spotting scopes, etc. It was a part of their yearly “Annual Optics Fling!”

Local Iconic Sight

As the sun was setting I took this photo of our local courthouse which sticks out high above the building in the foreground.

Happy 4th of July

Disclaimer: This wasn’t a 4th of July parade but it was the VFW of Millersburg, OH carrying the US flag!

Red-Shouldered Hawk

I saw this hawk on our local Rails to Trails trail.

A photographer using the backdrop of the stonework of the Millersburg Courthouse for her photoshoot.

This white-tailed deer was alerted, but not enough to raise it’s white tail!

So much to be thankful for!! Friends, including my wife who I walked with on this Rails to Trails trail near Millersburg, OH! Thanks for how God has led our 74 year old lives, including bring us together, in 1966. We are also blessed to have friends invite us to join them for lunch today!! Thanks, Jim and Jana!

All Ears

Deer in front of me on the Rails to Trails trail, trying to figure out what I am! In case you noticed this photo was taken before the one on yesterday’s post!
