LADY IN OLD DHAKA, BANGLADESH
Tag Archive: Old Dhaka
BANGLADESH became our home two years ago today!!! A special place with many special people in a great city!!!

RAMADAN starts in Bangladesh today. It didn’t start yesterday because no one on the moon committee spied the New Moon on Friday evening. I used to read about the many Muslims observing this month of fasting (dawn to dusk) and now I am here and have neighbors and friends who are doing so.

NICE HEAD SHOT by a teammate while Masum (red jersey) looks on. I play with these fellows early on Friday and Saturday morning. We have a match at 4:15 at the TNT field. If we win we are in the semi-finals.

DRINKING TEA
I decided to interrupt the Nepal photos with this photo my friend took of me sipping Bengali tea during a photo shoot in Old Dhaka. A bus driver who ran the route from Holmes Co., Ohio to Sarasota, Fl. was discussing me with my Mom in Florida. He said it is the fellow who looks out over the top of his glasses. I guess he was right! I’d like to thank my friend Matthias, who dropped this photo onto my desktop while I was in Nepal.
