After not being successful in seeing the Roseate Spoonbill in Holmes County, I was fortunate to get photos of the one in Wayne County. I had some taxi customers that were hoping to see the bird. And we were very successful. A birder friend wanted to know the whereabouts of barn owls in Holmes County, so I did some research and actually found a male that posed nicely for me. I also had some nice conversation in the landowners living room!
Sighted in Holmes County, OH!! The photo was taken at ISO 640; 1/500 and f 13. I used my Canon EOS 7D, with a EF 70-300, 1.4-5.6 Canon Zoom lens .
