STREET PHOTOGRAPHY IN OLD DHAKA

Matching wardrobe!

WE ALWAYS ENJOY THE 30 MINUTE RICKSHAW RIDE THROUGH THE COUNTRY FROM AKAURA TO THE CHECKPOST NEAR AGARTALA, INDIA.

I COULDN’T RESIST THIS SHOT OF JEREMY TAKING THE WASHING MACHINE TO HIS HOUSE AFTER HENRY’S MOVED OUT!

All Aboard!

CAROL AND IDA ON A MYMENSINGH!  They even looked for an excuse to go for a rickshaw ride just before supper.  Riding rickshaws was their favorite mode of transportation, though they really enjoyed the train. They are leaving for the airport at midnight tonight! 😦

We sure have had a good time of catching up with our good friends.

They love riding on a rickshaw with great views and feeling the breezes, etc.

Day 300

TODAY WAS FULL DAY!  A visit to Old Dhaka including the area where rickhsaws are painted.  Someone mentioned that this fellow was an engineer.  He turned around and said, “I am an artist, not an engineer!”

Here is a photo of an artist painting on a rickshaw.

Day 272

HERE IS A TYPICAL SITE IN KOLKATA.  Hand drawn rickshaw and it’s human puller waiting for a passenger.

Day 249

BIDESHIS COMING DOWN THE BARIBANS WEST OF MOHAMMADPUR, DHAKA.

Buckin’ the Wind!

Day 248

TWO BIDESHIS (FOREIGNERS) LOOKING BACK AT THE photographer in the rickshaw behind them.
