We’ve been busy with our 45th wedding anniversary, U.S. Flag Day, beginning of the Soccer World Cup, giving visitors a tour of Dhaka, and Mymensingh, and Father’s Day! I decided I need to get on my blog and for sure wish my wife, “A very Happy Birthday! Now she is “older” than I am. For two months I will be glad to do whatever she wants me to!!! 🙂

These were some of the carts we met every morning at 5:45 am on the road that goes into Srimongol, Molouvibazar, Syhlet, Bangladesh! It is a lovely walk through the tea estates.

It must be the wedding season. Last evening I attended the second Guy Holud event in one week, both being for grooms whom I play football with. At a Guy Holud the main event is putting tumeric on the face, and feeding the groom fruits and sweets. The photo is of Asif Hossain Asrafi and I, and today is the wedding reception for him and Nasima Arfin (Mou)! Congratulations!
