45 WONDERFUL YEARS AGO I MET MY DARLING WIFE IN the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia!!!!  Busy packing for a trip to Calcutta, India, so I’m reusing this photo for this special day!

MARGARET, IONA, KIM, AND MARVIN seated in the middle of the courtyard of these Bailor village homes.  They treated us royally.

ALICE IN BAILOR VILLAGE NEAR MYMENSINGH.  We spent 2.5 hours in this village.  She quizzed them on English and they knew the numbers, colors and body parts in English.  They have three schools in the village of 2500 in which they are taught English.

HERE IS MY FRIEND MARVIN GETTING READY TO CROSS THE SMALL STREAM on a two-piece bamboo bridge I just crossed.  We of course, drew a crowd of villagers. This was in Bailor Village near Mymensingh City.

THIS MY 1,000th  POST ON THIS BLOG!!  It’s hard to believe that I have had that many posts.  I hope this blog is being enjoyed. I chose this photo since it is of a 1,000 taka note from Bangladesh, where I currently reside.  This is worth about $13 USD.
