YES, I FELL AND CRACKED THE GLASS BAD ON THE UV FILTER OF MY CANON EF 24-105 1:4 L ZOOM LENS, which was mounted on my Canon 7D camera! I wasn’t able to tell the difference on this photo, but obviously the filter needed replacement! Definitely minimal damage for the other options. Removing filter and replacing it cost me 2,00o tk ($25) at Orient Cameras & Photos in Plaza A.R. on Mirpur Rd.

I HELPED THESE TWO YOUNG LADIES FIND A HANDICRAFT SHOP AND A SHOP THAT HANDLES BLOCK PRINTING SUPPLIES! From Iqbal Rd to Farmgate to Gausia Market, Midnight Sun Restaurant and back to Iqbal Rd. The only mishap we had was when I tripped a fell smashing to the ground with my camera in hand. My uv filter had a ding in the side and crushed glass but my camera, the lens, and my body had no ill effects!!! A miracle at best.
THIS WAS A PHOTO FROM THE STREET TOWARD OUR HOTEL IN THAMEL. IT REMINDS ME OF HOW COLD IT WAS, OF COURSE COMPARED TO BANGLADESH. ACTUALLY IT WAS ABOUT THE SAME AS COLD RECORDS WERE BEING BROKEN IN BANGLADESH. It’s nice to be back home but I miss it that our AC doesn’t put out heat like the one did in our hotel in Nepal!
