This is a workbench I found at a thrift store for $75. I have been looking for one for a long time to get my tools organized. Here is the beginning. I need to buy more hooks, for sure!
Here is how things looked on this shelf area. With the “new” workbench I should be able to locate my tools faster! 🙂

A fine place to start! It looks like you’ll get stuff made or fixed better now.
Seeing that workbench reminded me of my father’s–he was a stringed instrument repairman (and musician and conductor). I spent tons of happy hours in the beasement room where he worked on making beautiful again damaged or poorly playing instruments. I’d stand quietly and sometimes on a step stool so I could better see what he was doing. Very companionable space and times.
