Somehow these ponies escaped and ran down the road. I was shocked to see this Amish father ands son each with a pony and one running loose. Not sure if only one got out and they rode the others to go find them or what! It amused me to see them coming down the snow covered road.

Typical scene in Holmes County, Ohio in January.

It was nice to see this regal animal on our first of snow!

The first snow for this season!

Some white-tailed deer I spotted in someone’s backyard on my way home last evening! A nice surprise!

This capture was the first photo walk to look for the white-tailed deer with the Canon PowerShot SX70HS! A pleasant surprise.

In the Cornfield

Another White-tail Buck running away.

He turned around to face me, and almost his his velvet antlers!

It’s haymaking time in Ohio!

I did see one deer this morning on the trail during my 3 mile walk. This is as close as my 200 mm lens would reach! 🙂
