A Wood Duck with her little ones!

This was a new bird for me. It was far far away. in the camera it looked like it would not be too bad a photo, but it wasn’t to be.

Grasshopper Sparrow

Yellow-breasted Chat. It used to be classified as a Warbler, but was recently removed from the Warbler list.

Prairie Warbler lifts head and sings.

This photo was taken in the Woodbury Wildlife Area 4 miles west of Coshocton, Ohio while on a Birding tour provided by Time & Optics a Binocular and other Optics supplier in Holmes County, Ohio. this day I added 4 lifers to my Life list of birds I have seen. The day before on a birding trip to the Mohican area near Loudonville, Ohio, I added 7 birds to my life list! Birding was great but photography was not so great!

This is a beautiful bird that loves to sing in the open fields. It’s the best photo I could from the distance I was away! This was in the Woodbury Wildlife Area 4 miles west of Coshocton, Ohio.

This was at the Mohican Gorge Overlook. It was a birding trip organized by “Time & Optics” a local shop that sells Clocks, binoculars, and spotting scopes, etc. It was a part of their yearly “Annual Optics Fling!”

This woodpecker has been coming to our bird feeder. He loves the peanuts. We have a pair of bluebirds that returned again this year and have hatched little ones. One of the adult bluebirds keeps dive-bombing this woodpecker. He must be very territorial!

This bird frequents our backyard.
