I was being kind and taking down the curtains to wash from our son’s office, since he was going to be gone for some time. I thought the rolling desk chair wouldn’t be very safe, so I chose this plastic chair! Big Mistake! Only a cut underneath my foot at the big toe joint. I confess that when the house-helper and my wife realized I was ok, they couldn’t keep from laughing as they replayed the scene in their mind! There was a not so subtle hint made about me losing some weight! I was thinking more down the line of blaming it on an old sun-dried plastic chair that was already on the way out! It was a shock to go plunging and finding my foot on the floor!
Well, he should be in the air by now on the way to NYC to teach some linquistics. He is 38 years old, so it isn’t the first time he has left home! In fact one of the times he left home, we followed him and now live with him in Bangladesh! This isn’t a photo of him this morning, but one of him walking up the street on another day.
It was a great moment for me when I heard that one of my photos was accepted for TTL’s BIF5(Bangladesh in Frames5) photo exhibition at Drik Gallery in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Here is a previous post of the photo that was accepted: https://marlandphotos.com/2012/06/17/boli-khela-wrestling/
