2012 Day 75

2012 Day 74

WE STAYED AT HOTEL AMIR IN MYMENSINGH.  It was a nice hotel.  Here are glimpses of a mural in the stairwell along with the ladies.

IDA AND I HAD A NICE TOUR OF THE BANGLADESH PARLIAMENT BUILDING (Jatiyo Sangshad Bhaban), WHICH HAD BEEN ARRANGED BY OUR FRIEND, INGRID!

2012 Day 72

IDA ENJOYING THE VIEW OUT THE TRAIN CAR WINDOW!  It was a very pleasant 3 3/4 hr. train ride to Mymensingh.

ALL ABOARD!   CAROL GETTING ON THE TRAIN FOR MYMENSINGH, BANGLADESH. Each ticket cost 60 tk (75 cents) for the 120 km ride!

THIS BANGLADESH TRAIN MUST HAVE LULLED THIS LADY TO SLEEP?  Yes, I was as the airport train station on Saturday to pick up a passenger, so enjoyed getting some photos.  I actually also went to the Kamalapur Train Station this morning to buy tickets for a trip we are taking with guests this week.
