Day 95

HOMEWARD BOUND

After the haircuts we got on a rickshaw and headed home.  After taking the photo, I actually sat up behind Jensen on the back of the seat.

Is there still room for Grandpa?

DURING HAIRCUT

Here is Jensen getting his haircut.  There is a photo of one of these barbers cutting my hair in November.  It was taken by friends visiting us.  I’m sure soon there will be new photo to put on their mirror!

Day 80

RILEY, my Grandson

I couldn’t resist this year old photo.  It was taken on the river in Mymensingh.  Our grandsons came to our apartment yesterday for their weekly supper and evening to give their parents a night out on the town!  They are so full of energy.

Day 44

FRENCH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

We spent most of the day at this tournament.  It was for ages 6-16 with six schools participating.  Jensen and Pruitt, two of our grandsons played.  Neither of their teams made it past the qualifying rounds.  They were still excited to receive a participation medallion as well as a book bag with goodies in it: cap, tee-shirt, pen, scarf, etc

Day 32

YOUNG LADS

I had a nice walk this morning to Farmgate with my XTI in hand.  I was asked to stop at a tea stand for a cup of tea and conversation.  With some help I located a restroom in a bus company administrative building.  Upon exiting I found a fellow who wanted to discuss politics, so we chatted as I resumed my walk.  We parted ways near farmgate and I looked for photo-ops before returning home.  Todays’ photo is of two lads who wanted their photo taken.  Alice and I did some shopping at Gausia market near New Market and had lunch at “Midnight Sun” a great Chinese/Thai restaurant.  Alice had a delightful mixed salad and I had some sweet and sour fish.
