MALE MYANMAR PORTRAITS

Some portraits I captured!

Here are a few of the portraits I have from our trip to Myanmar!  Many more to come.

As Pastor, it was a privilege to be able to do the baby dedication for Carver!  His family sang a very special song they had written for the occasion.

THIS FELLOW WANTED ME TO TAKE A PHOTO OF HIM AND HIS FRIEND.  AFTER MY CAMERA GAVE ME ERRORS SEVERAL TIMES THEY SEEM TO BE JUST STARING INTO THE LENS.  I WAS STANDING IN THE STREET SO MAYBE HE WAS LOOKING OUT FOR MY SAFETY ON ZAKIR HOSSAIN RD!

IS THAT CAMERA EVER GOING TO WORK, SO I CAN QUIT POSING?

Day 356

DEEP IN THOUGHT

Day 321

THIS AND THE NEXT POSTS WILL FEATURE A FAMILY WE APPRECIATE.

FATHER PREPARING TO BOWL THE CRICKET BALL!

Day 159

CINDY AND I HAVING A DUEL ON THE CHESS BOARD.  We didn’t get to finish one game, but I think this is likely the game I lost!  Chess is one of my favorite games.

Day 135

YOUNG BENGALI GIRLS AT MY FRIEND ARIF’S WEDDING RECEPTION.

Not-Posed and Posed!

Caught in the Lens again!

Day 124

THIS SCHOOL GUARD REALLY WANTED HIS PHOTO TAKEN.  He had seen me taking photos of the construction outside Charles’ apartment building, and came out requesting I take his photo. Charles said he saw him coming out making sure his hat was on properly for the photo.

Day 59

GARMENT WORKERS SITTING IN ROAD BLOCKING TRAFFIC in Mastar Bari, Sreepur, Gazipur, Bangladesh.  There were police on either side of them.  We had to take a detour returning  from Mymensingh.  With this incident and Dhaka traffic we spent almost 6 hours on the road.

Day 46

THIS BENGALI LADY POSED FOR ME as I was returning from a trip to Farmgate on Victory Day to get my glasses adjusted. On 16 Dec 2011 Bangladesh celebrated the 40th anniversary of its victory against Pakistani troops in the 1971 Liberation War.

Day 339
