Kept Fresh

Happy Valentine’s Day

A card that my Mother gave to her Grandmother, back in the 30’s, or maybe 20’s!

What is This Doll’s Story

One of the many items for sale at this estate auction! I hope you are enjoying all the photos from this auction. I enjoyed taking the photos!

Discarded

I am sure this tractor saw much use on this farm and had served his time!

The Engineer

This gentleman set up this Christmas Train set just for the Train and Toy show in Moreland, Ohio, organized by the Moreland Historical Society.

Trains

I guess sometimes Santa ditches the reindeer and hops on the train to make sure he gets all the gifts distributed for the young and the old children!

Nostalgia

I remember playing with these toys a loooong time ago!

I remember “Back on the Farm” in Iowa as a lad putting milk into these cans and having a truck come and pick the cans up! By this time the trucks were newer models. This truck would have been manufactured the year my mother was born!

Bye Gone Era

Seeing these items on the shelf of a furniture store brought back memories of “Days Gone By”!

Preparing for Spring

Today I took our lawn mower to the local sharpener, so it would be sharpened and ready for the Spring season!

The Gentleman on the right, and on this side of the open door, whose eyes are locked on the Auctioneer, will soon have the highest bid for this truck. I was not fast enough for what I thought would have been a Great Photo (A photo of this gentleman and his wife, when his wife showed the Auctioneer’s helper their bidding number after having the highest bid for this truck) They were overjoyed!

Another view of the old Truck

8N Ford – Nostalgia

This auction was the place to be if you need a tractor! This is the kind of tractor, I was driving on our farm, some 60 years ago! Nostalgia for sure! Now downsizing, so no need to buy it!
