So much of the news is filled with disasters, killings, and rapes.  Today we received some great news: A woman was rescued alive after 400 hrs. (17 days) in a collapsed building!!

This young girl spends her morning carrying a big rice bag around to fill with paper and plastic for recycling.   Though part of the many poor in Dhaka, she still knows how to smile.

I love this ad on the wall of a building near Coffee World in Lalmatia!  It is likely because this is the kind of camera I used from 1964-66 when I was doing photography for my high school newspaper and yearbook!
