Day 196

BAILEY STARTS HER TRIP TO COX’S BAZAAR with Bangladesh’s variety of “Speed,” a high-energy drink.  With the Laboni Beach, speed boat ride to Maheshkhal Island, Buddhist and Hindu temples, Inani Beach with Coral boulders which were hidden because of high tide, Himchhari Falls, etc. it felt like we should have bought a case of Speed to keep us going.  It was a wonderful trip which we survived, including 2-14 hour bus rides to and from Dhaka!

BAILEY, MY NIECE ENJOYING  the waves at Cox’s Bazaar’s in Bangladesh.   This section is called Laboni Beach. At 75 miles, it is the world’s longest sand beach in the world. Notice the typical Cox’s Bazaar “swimwear” which is of course not typical Florida or California swimwear!

Day 194

LORI IN VILLAGE WITH YOUNG CHILD!

Day 193

KASEY WITH LITTLE CHILD FROM THE VILLAGE.

Day 192

BAILEY ENJOYING SOME COCONUT MILK IN THE VILLAGE.

BAILEY, KASEY, LORI, KATRIEL, AND MORIAH being observed by in Keraniganj village in Bangladesh.  Foreigners don’t likely visit this village often.

Day 190

BAILEY DRESSED IN HER SARI READY TO GO visit our neighbors, and have an evening meal with them.

Day 189

BAILEY WITH A THRONG OF PEOPLE ON WALKOVER  at Farmgate the busiest intersection in Dhaka.  Probably more people move through this intersection in a day than the population of Denmark!

MY NIECE BAILEY, STANDING IN FRONT OF VEGETABLE STAND in Town Hall Market where I buy most of my vegetables.

BAILEY AND I ON A RICKSHAW being photographed by a willing bystander.

Day 184

MY NIECE BAILY AT COFFEE WORLD where we had frappes tomato soup and sandwiches. It’s great having her around.

Day 181

CHICKEN KORMA SERVED AT THE FOREST GREEN RESTAURANT, associated with the Hotel Dallas in Syhlet, Bangladesh.

This is one of my favorite dishes.  No, I didn’t use the spoon to eat it with.  I picked it up in pieces of nan ruti for a scrumptuous meal.
