They are standing in the doorway of Shaheen’s one-room dwelling in one of the many Bihari camps in Dhaka.  Sultan was dressed up to celebrate the festival, Muharram. The festival commemorates the martyrdom of the prophet Mohammed’s grandson- Hazrat Imam Hussein.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OUR FRIENDS!  We are having a relaxing day here in Bali, Indonesia, reading books, editing photos, taking photos, enjoying good food, etc.  Photos were taken at airport in Kuala Lumpur on our way from the U.S. A. to Dhaka in September.

WE HAD A GREAT THANKSGIVING MEAL YESTERDAY, prepared by the men.

We had goose, chicken, mashed potatoes, bread, french onion soup, pumpkin pie, apple pie, orange/coffee custard, potato stuffing, chicken gravy, momos, veggies, and okra.  Sorry guys, if I missed an item.

RILEY, OUR 6-YR OLD grandson having a great time at McDonald’s Playplace in Millersburg, Ohio.  I took the grandsons there the last day we spent time with them, before heading for Bangladesh.

RILEY, OUR YOUNGEST GRANDSON, with his friend Jack!  He loves to play with this dog.  He couldn’t get done saying good-bye to him.  Also, when arriving on the farm, the first thing he did was to say hi to Jack!  We sure do miss you, Riley.
