Sunday Noon after church, with my younger brother, Bob.

My dear Mother, Fannie Jane (Beachy) Miller: September 4, 1923-September 26, 2021

On a morning walk with my wife! We are walking through the journey necessary when a loved one dies. Early Sunday morning Mother passed away at the age of 98 years and 2 weeks. A long and fruitful life!
My mother was a free spirit! At the assisted living home, the hospital, and at the rehab facility, they all enjoyed her humor, and realized that when she spoke, she had no filter! 🙂
As we look into the future I thought the silhouette of my wife was fitting. Also, it is always nice to see wildlife on our morning walks.
Many of you blog followers are great encouragers, and I thought you would like to know what we are walking through.
The last photo, is where I took Mom’s photo from. It was taken with one of our friends, and Mom, at Mom’s sister’s funeral in Kansas! A memorable photo.

We had a short and sweet birthday party, with just my wife and I attending! All my siblings attended via Zoom, thus they missed the cake and ice cream! Great to see her having fun and enjoying herself! I decide to pose with her, and she had to clown around! 🙂

She settled down when I grabbed the camera!

My wife and Mother!

My Mother gave my son a birthday gift bag. He had fun looking at everything, very much like my mother likes to do when she receives a bag full of gifts! Our grandson looks on.

Thanks to Dairy Queen this Reese Peanut Butter Cup cake was readily available with no fuss, and no muss! The party was for our son, Austin, and his son’s fiancee, Kourtney! Sorry, Dusty, you didn’t get any of it since you left a week too soon. But, we did sing for you. Google Mail said that the video was too long to send. So, I will have to learn how to edit it, and send it.
