Day 281

THREE YEARS  ago we arrived in Dhaka and unpacked our bags.  Our lives have blended with many friends, bideshi(foreigners) and Bengalis.  We have impacted others, and others have impacted us.  Life goes on whether it is a rainy or sunny day.  Today is a very rainy day, which has naturally caused a big drop in temperatures.  It is 79.9 degrees Fahrenheit outside, trying hard to stay below 80 degrees!  Winter is surely on its way.

Day 278

TONIA, KEEP SHOOTING!  I’m sure she got some great shots of the surprise birthday party.

Day 277

SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY attendees, including our friend Aleta, on the left.  I wonder what they all are thinking?

Day 276

BETH, AND HER MOTHER, soon after the Mother was shocked by 70 some guests for a surprise birthday party.

Day 274

A FRIEND HAVING A GOOD TIME, after recovering from the shock of this surprise birthday party!

Day 271

RILEY, OUR YOUNGEST GRANDSON, with his friend Jack!  He loves to play with this dog.  He couldn’t get done saying good-bye to him.  Also, when arriving on the farm, the first thing he did was to say hi to Jack!  We sure do miss you, Riley.

Day 270

TAYLOR, OUR NIECE, sure grew up since we saw her in 2007.   I guess we all are 3 years older, and hopefully wiser!  Oh, by the way, we landed at the airport in Dhaka at 11:40 PM on Thursday the 22nd of September.

Day 266

ROD MAST, THE LOCAL PHARMACIST, visiting with an Amish couple near the German Village grocery store complex.  I went to college with Rod, back in the 60’s.
