Today it’s back to normalcy, if there is such a thing for those of us in the “Golden Years!” By the time you see this post we will hopefully be in our own bed, trying to recover from a “door to door” 42 hour trip home. This did include early trip to airport, because of some election day travel restrictions, and a 7 hr. layover in Boston! Not sure how much cold and snow we missed, during the month of February, but we sure enjoyed the balmy temps of Bangladesh!

Before and After, he remembered who I was, and that he used to see me play keeper day after day on the soccer field!

After an hour of football this morning, then a one hour walk to the North End Coffee Roasters Shop in Dhanmondi with my wife, we were ready for lunch! White Mocha coffee, and roast beef and cheese sandwich. This is a must-do coffee shop if visiting Dhaka, Bangladesh!

A Gentleman

Relaxing at a Hotel on the way home from a 8 day trip to Kansas for a wedding, and catching up with cousins! It was a wonderful time. Don’t forget the importance of your relationships with extended family! Whether you share few or many memories, it is a good time to reminisce about the past with stories of your parents, grandparents, etc. We will arrive at home this evening, and get into our routine again!

Happy Times

Hilarity at a Wedding!

He just finished feeding her wedding cake! A fun wedding, indeed!

Thoughtful Gift

A counted-cross-stitch with the date of our marriage hangs gracefully in our bedroom!! Our 50th anniversary is 6 months away, so the gift was in plenty of time to exhibit at that time! A big thank you to the friend who crafted this “Labor of Love!”
