A scene in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

A gentleman in Dhaka, Bangladesh drinking tea at the same tea stall where I was drinking tea!

Young girl focused on her writing, or drawing, but not on the pastor! 🙂

I took a walk today, taking along my camera and a new lens (16-300) to see how it works with wildlife. These white-tailed deer were somewhat cooperative but a little skittish! Side note: It was 50 degrees warmer this afternoon than it was the morning before! It felt like Spring!

Farmstead on a frosty morning!

This is a workbench I found at a thrift store for $75. I have been looking for one for a long time to get my tools organized. Here is the beginning. I need to buy more hooks, for sure!

Here is how things looked on this shelf area. With the “new” workbench I should be able to locate my tools faster! 🙂

This was my first carving, which I started on a beach in Florida in 1992! I finished it around 202! I was not satisfied with the beak, so I cut it off at least two times and redid it, though not satisfied, I set it on a ledge on our enclosed porch for 4 years. In December I decided to “remodel” it. I cut the head and started carving a new head!

This is that carving with a new head, and a new paint job! I think it is an improvement but not perfect, but much better. I thought it was interesting that I started this carving on a warm beach in Florida, and finished the remodel in Ohio during a snowstorm!
