This young lad was enjoying his donut, obviously glad his Dad had brought him along to the Auction.

Taking Front Stage

Between the Sunrise service, and before the main Easter Morning Service this little girl decided to take to the stage!

It’s Like This

Leisurely Moment

This was a snapshot of the “Rustic Barrel Design” booth at the OHFM 2023 in Mt. Hope, Ohio, USA. OHFM is the Ohio Hardwood Furniture Market!

Home Sweet Home

Mail piled up! Thanks, Ida for sorting the mail!

Fridge need’s restocking! As type my wife returned from her shopping trip with a lot of veggies, etc to replenish this empty cavern!

The list of scheduled taxi runs is non-existent, though I got a call while I was in Boston, and two calls the first thing this morning for runs today! The one call this morning was my “wakeup call.” So I got up and started my day, even though we crawled into bed at 2 am, 44 hours after we left the apartment in Bangladesh on Thursday afternoon in Bangladesh!

So back to my morning routine, in front of the fire, since it was 50 degrees Fahrenheit outside, compared to the 85 degrees when we left Bangladesh! There may be some “stragglers” from Bangladesh, but future posts will mostly be from Ohio, USA!

Farewell

This is a photo of me taking a photo at the Bangladesh National Martyr’s Monument in Savar. I say farewell, because we have a flight scheduled to return home to the USA on March 23. The three months here, felt like we had never left. So many memories, and good friends in Bangladesh.

What’s behind that gate?

This young girl and I were surprised when we both entered this hallway and saw each other. So many memories of visiting her Uncles at a different location. Now she is probably 10 years older, and so am I! 🙂 What a nice surprise!

Also inside gate is this special family: Masum and his family. I met Masum 15 years ago, and we played soccer (football) together for 8 years. A very good friend! I enjoyed playing with the children, and enjoyed a nice meal of curried fish & chicken, dal, and rice!

In “my happy place!”

“Drawing a Bead” on a street dog with his rubber band!

As the market prepares for another day it is hit with bright sunlight which we hadn’t seen for several days!
