At least 6 eagles took flight before I got as close as I wanted to be to photograph the group in the field. The last photo is of one of those that took flight! They must have “eagle eyes!”

On my morning walk it was a pleasure to see this Bald Eagle soaring with a blue sky behind him. Without a tele lens i had to work with what I had and crop it!

My first Christmas morning taxi customer, as we were passing this eagle, wondered if I had ever seen it! I said no, pressed the red button for my hazard lights, and backed down the road, till I could get a good view of the bald eagle. I got out and grabbed a quick shot before going down the road. A nice gift by a thoughtful passenger, and we still arrived at our first destination two minutes ahead of schedule! In the coming year, let’s be alert to times when we can give gifts to others, even in simple ways, such as pointing out this regal bird to an avid bird photographer! Happy Holidays

It is the only eagle unique to North America! Â This photo was taken at Magee Marsh, Ohio.
