We haven’t seen snow for the last 9 years. Yesterday, finally there was enough snow to cover the ground here in Ohio. My wife was so happy, since she missed the snow.

It’s tedious and hard work! I heard husking walnuts can be done by driving over them with a vehicle!! I should have tried it. Of course, being semi-retired, I had time to kill! 🙂 Here I am with a plastic glove inside a cloth glove trying not to get a long-lasting stain on my thumbs! This procedure does work!
Smoked Turkey, Layered Lettuce Salad, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Peas and Carrots, topped of with Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie (Pecans shelled by Vik Lynch) and Ice Cream! Tomorrow, more of the same with the addition of dressing!

My Grandfather lived just over the hill from here years ago, and we used to come here and visit, when our sons were small. It is in the country.
