With such a nice morning, traveling to the wedding with an open carriage is a pleasant ride!
This Amish couple are traveling to a wedding with their “golf cart!” They are probably at the age, etc., that hitching up a horse for a trip wouldn’t be possible!
I have a dilemma! I still haven’t posted many of my photos from my weekend in Charleston, SC. yet! I also have got some nice photos this week, that haven’t been posted. On Monday I am heading for the West Coast, hoping to reach Yosemite National Park by Wednesday evening. This is a 20-day trip, so there should be some great photos coming up! See you then!
Awaiting the live production at “Sight and Sound” theater, in Pennsylvania. It felt like you were right in the city of Susa. They did a terrific job, as always.
Sitting on our porch, a favorite spot this summer. Our anniversary was in mid-June, and then later, Alice’s birthday. Soon after we celebrated 20,000 days since we met, way back in 1966. This week we were on a business trip and heard on Wednesday evening that my 97 year-old Mother had fallen and broken her femur. The next day (My 73rd birthday), I stopped in at 6 stores, in two states, and headed home, arriving by 10:20 pm, so we could be there for Mom’s surgery this afternoon. My wife and I are now the same age. I am sure we will find some time later in which to celebrate my birthday!
I am disappointed, because we were due to be touring Israel this week, and next. We did get our tour money back, but will have to wait for the money from El Al, until they are up and running. I am thinking there is likely something better ahead for us. Now glad, we decided the make the trip to Nicaragua in February. At least with 20-20 vision, we can look back and better analyze what is happening, etc., and it’s ramifications! Let’s not despair, but look ahead with hope.
