THE SHOES, ARIFUL WORE AT THE WEDDING RECEPTION, which is very typical for Bengali wedding attire.
JEREMY GETS SOME “FATHER” BROWNIE POINTS for taking his daughters to the playing field in 90 degree weather. These photos were taken from our rooftop.
WAITING FOR THE GROOM TO ENTER the reception hall, and toss glitter on him. They even had some left and tossed it on me after I went inside. The one young boy apologized, probably for his little sister, but I told him it was no problem.

TEA STALL OWNER PREPARING ME A CUP OF TEA. His stand is 50 yards from Jeremy’s apartment, and half way between us and Charles’ place! Sweetened condensed milk, sugar, and some tea are created to make this great drink. Maybe 3 oz. for 6 cents! It’s a rare day that I don’t have a cup of tea. He is wearing a lungi, which is typically what I wear most days at home in the apartment. They are quite comfortable during these 90+ degrees days!

This evening I attended Arif (Ariful H Bhuiyan) and Tajia’s (Salma Sultana Tajia) wedding reception.

THIS IS TAJIA (Salma Sultana Tajia). She is marrying Arif (Ariful H Bhuiyan) and I will be attending their wedding reception tomorrow. They are both photographers with TTL (Bangladesh Through the Lens) photo club. This was taken at Shudipto’s (another TTLer) wedding reception last Sunday!
