They are somewhat similar
As I look at them
I missed National Photography day on the 19th, so I decided to post these photos in recognition of that day, and write the Haiku in recognition of National Poets Day. Maybe I was distracted on National Photography day since it was also my birthday! Maybe they also struck me as similar because both of their cultures are very conservative.

The trout, minnows and base were all carved out of one piece of wood by a carver from the Geppetto Woodcarvers club in Parkersburg, WV!

These are friends of mine who are also members of a carving club at the Wilderness Center in Wilmot, OH.

Fan under the umbrella amused when I stopped and took a photo of the duet!

I finished carving this cowboy from a rough-out, and painting it this week. I painted the carving with acrylic paints, and then sprayed with a coat of shellac.

Waiting for my chai tea to steep, so took a few photos at this coffee shop while waiting.

My son’s 48th birthday is today! I decided to use a little editing in Lightroom.

Before a short day trip I noted the mileage was 121212 miles. Even more amazed when we returned and it was 131212. Exactly a 200 mile day trip!
Interesting meme! Probably some truth to it.

Saw this collection of graters at a restaurant this week.

I like coffee, but not sure I am into doing stupid things at any speed!
