That’s me leaning on the hoe, second from the left. I would have been a freshman in High School, but maybe in 8th grade. The rest were Uncles and Aunts, Siblings, and Cousins. They had come from Ohio to visit us in Iowa. We had been hoeing weeds in the strawberry patch. In the background you see the green tent in our yard, where us boys slept since the guests were using our bedroom.

Side Note: As a taxi driver this is how I like the snow. Everywhere but on the driveways and roads! 🙂

Home Sweet Home

While waiting for some taxi customers, I parked in the parking lot for this falls. I decided I wasn’t dressed for a long time outdoors, so I didn’t circle around the woods to get a front view. I also didn’t go down over the falls in or out of a barrel! I am still amazed at the number of people that went over Niagara Falls and survived! Have a great Tuesday!

It seems like I am attracted to Winter plowing by horses by the Amish farmers. I hope you enjoy seeing these posts. I decided to do the narrow landscape version to give added interest.

In looking for an appropriate, I decided to choose this one from 4 years ago, when our son was home, and we had a meal similar to one I had yesterday at noon. I surely wish a Happy New Year to all my friends, whether fellow bloggers, or friends and family, across the world! With our German heritage, Mashed Potatoes, Sauerkraut, and Sausage (oops-hot dog substitute) are a must. This year it was cheese-impregnated venison, hotdogs a gift from one of my taxi customers.

Belated Merry Christmas

WhatI faced at 4 am on Christmas morning!

Started this on Christmas Day and finished it the following morning. This puzzle was one of my Christmas gifts.

Taxi work was light, so I decided to tackle this 1,000 piece puzzle! The first time I ever saw a Product Warranty for a puzzle. This puzzle was given to me for my birthday in August.

This is how much I accomplished by Monday morning.
